Types of yoga

All levels flow

These classes are based around a vinyasa/hatha style of yoga. Incorporating some of the strong rhythmical elements of the ashtanga Vinyasa style of practice along with some of the less flowing, more static poses of Hatha. These classes will also at time include more yin yoga elements. Meditation, chanting and pranayama (breathing practices) are apart of these classes.

Yin Yoga

A practice that brings in deep, long held poses, focusing on releasing the musculature and moving deeper into the connective tissue s that help support our bodies. Each pose is held for between 3-7 minutes allowing time to shift the focus in wards to a meditative space.

Parkinsons Yoga

A class for people with Parkinson’s disease. This class is partly chair based and focuses on relaxation, breathing and simple functional movements to help gain a better understanding and sensation of everyday movements.

Pregnancy Yoga

A class specifically for women in all stages through pregnancy, post natal as well parent and baby classes. The knowledge learnt from Sally Parkes has enabled me to provide a safe environment for mothers during and after their pregnancy to help get them feeling nurtured and energised.

Heated Yoga

An all levels flow class but in a heated room. The room is heated to between 25-30 degrees. This is not the same temperature as a bikram class which is 38-40 degrees.This allows for some of the benefits of the hot yoga (warming of the tissues) without giving a false sense of flexibility. Also it means that the leaching of salts and fluids is far less likely though plenty of hydration prior and during is highly recommended.


These are available daily and can be offered to teach and further a yoga practice or, as is more common with Wibbs, to guide people through a movement therapy session. This can be to help various musculoskeletal aches and pains; I work in conjunction with Gilmour piper physiotherapists with this too.

Also available 

Classes of guided meditation, in which mindfulness, Om meditation and yoga nidra (yogic sleep) can be taught for any period of time.

One to one
Private classes are also available, if you have a space in your house for a mat and would prefer to practice on your own whilst you start learning or maybe to learn some specific more advanced poses, this can be arranged! We will have a chat and go through your experience, what you would like to achieve and if you have any injuries. We can then work out a safe and enjoyable practice specific to you!
